BCinDC & the 2011 Convention

We have a brand new discussion forum: http://bcindc.proboards.com/

Once you register yourself there, you can use it to ask questions, discuss your plans, talk about books, and even find a roommate for the convention. We may be adding categories to it as the convention grows, so check back regularly.

We here at BCinDC have been very busy these last few weeks. The biggest change you’ll see, of course, is that convention registration is now open! With that comes a brand new registration FAQ page, plus several additions to the general convention FAQ.

In keeping with the Choose Your Own BookCrossing Journey theme, these add-ons are optional extras to enhance your convention experience. On Saturday, September 25 a bunch of BookCrossers went to the National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. We enjoyed the festival and met up with some Library Thing members in front of the Natural History Museum. We gave out some books and had a nice chat. Afterward, some of us went back to the festival to hear more authors talk and to collect some goodies from the tables.
