The book series might be over, but the magic remains! In the Harry Potter Lover themed auction box you get an assortment of Harry Potter goodies. No box would be complete without books, so there’s a copy of Harry: a History autographed by the author herself (and containing an exclusive interview with J.K. Rowling), Tales of Beedle the Bard, and one of the Harry Potter books on cassette tape. There are also some fun items like a Scene It Harry Potter game on DVD and a custom-made Harry Potter in the Hogwarts Library set containing more than 50 LEGO pieces. There is an unopened CD of “Goodbye, Privet Drive” by the Ministry of Magic (one of the top wizard rock groups). There are other goodies like bookmarks, a pin, a chocolate frog card, and a poster which has become a collector’s item which goes for more than $50 on eBay.

On May 23, BCinDC took a trip up to Baltimore to visit the Book Thing. We met members of the ABXC group there and we were tempted by thousands of free books. Afterward, the BookCrossers headed to Kosher Bite to chat and exchange books.
